Midwestern Longhorn Association members recently voted Lifetime MLA member Kent Krutsinger of Chariton, Iowa as the MLA 2007 "Top Hand" Award Winner. This annual award goes to the MLA member the MLA membership believes has sacrificed the most to propel MLA forward over the past year. Krutsinger is a founding Lifetime member of MLA and currently wears multiple hats for the association. Kent is the current MLA Treasurer, Webmaster and Show Chairman. Other MLA members recieving votes in the Top Hand Award balloting were Todd and Kathy Groharing of Davenport, Iowa who currently serve as MLA Youth advisors and donated our Longhorn heifer we are raffling this spring. And John and Jane Thate of Fairmont, Minnesota who host our annual MLA Ranch Tour each summer. (pictured below Kent Krutsinger)
